Bethany Harrison’s campaign for the Republican nomination for Lynchburg Commonwealth’s Attorney announced today that she has been endorsed by Amherst County Sheriff E.W. Viar, Jr.
As Sheriff of a neighboring jurisdiction, Sheriff Viar has had the chance to observe and work with Bethany over the years. He knows that she has what it takes to lead the Lynchburg Office of the Commonwealth’s Attorney.
“After 33 years in law enforcement, I know the value of experienced leadership in the office of Commonwealth’s Attorney. It is vital to the safety of the citizens of Lynchburg to have an experienced and aggressive prosecutor like Bethany Harrison as their next Commonwealth’s Attorney. She has the ability to handle any case and make sure violent offenders are brought to justice. I urge the citizens of Lynchburg to vote for Bethany Harrison in the June 13th Republican primary.”
