Economic Development

The continued vitality of the downtown renovations and projects—in which our City is investing heavily—depends on the continued economic development that we’ve seen over the last few years. Lynchburg needs to continue to grow it’s local businesses but we also need to attract new businesses to our area. In order to attract new business and encourage local business to expand, our City must be safe. Not only must our City be safe, we have to prove it by showing the public several key pieces of information:

1. Decreasing crime rates

Add text about crime rates.

2. Publicizing victories

Add text about why it is important to be active on social media and working with reporters to make sure the public has good information.

3. Championing successes from governmental and nonprofit entities.

Pick out some of the other governmental agencies and nonprofits you work with and add text about how you can promote them.

4. Anything else you can think of?
