Mr. Davenport is now the 7th Commonwealth’s Attorney to endorse Bethany Harrison. In making his endorsement he says,
“I ask my fellow republicans in Lynchburg to support the nomination of Bethany Harrison for the position of Commonwealth’s Attorney. She is by far the best qualified and most worthy candidate to fill the shoes of one of the most respected prosecutors in the Commonwealth of Virginia, Mike Doucette. Bethany’s more than a decade of experience prosecuting significant cases and learning under Mike’s direction provide her the tools she needs to succeed as your next Commonwealth’s Attorney. As a fellow Republican she shares the values we want in our nominees. I am glad to endorse Bethany in her campaign and I encourage you to cast your vote for her.” – William Davenport, (R) Chesterfield County Commonwealth’s Attorney
