Today Bethany Harrison’s campaign for Lynchburg Commonwealth’s Attorney announced that she has received the endorsement of Robert Bryan Haskins, the Commonwealth’s Attorney for Pittsylvania County. Mr. Haskins becomes the 13th Commonwealth’s Attorney to endorse Bethany Harrison’s campaign.
Prior to becoming Commonwealth’s Attorney in Pittsylvania County, Mr. Haskins was the Chief Deputy Commonwealth’s Attorney for Pittsylvania County. He recognizes the value of that experience and how it makes Lynchburg’s Chief Deputy Commonwealth’s Attorney Bethany Harrison the right person for the job. He writes:
Bethany Harrison has my support to be the next Commonwealth’s Attorney for the City of Lynchburg. Bethany is the current Chief Deputy Commonwealth’s Attorney in Lynchburg with ten years of prosecution experience. I know firsthand the value of that experience. I was the Chief Deputy Commonwealth’s Attorney for Pittsylvania County before becoming the Commonwealth’s Attorney for the same office. The experience I gained as a prosecutor and supervisor in the office was invaluable to prepare me to be the top law enforcement officer of my county. Bethany has that indispensable foundation of experience needed to lead the Lynchburg Commonwealth’s Attorney’s Office.
