By 2:1 margin Voters Select Harrison to be Republican Standard-Bearer
Bethany Harrison has secured the Republican nomination for Lynchburg Commonwealth’s Attorney in a resounding victory over her challenger, Tim Griffin. With all precincts reporting Bethany Harrison held a nearly 2-1 advantage in the vote total.
This landslide victory shows a clear message from Lynchburg voters that they want experienced leadership in place at the Office of the Commonwealth’s Attorney filling the vital role of being the top prosecutor in the city.
The overwhelming result saw Bethany sweep every ward in the city.
Bethany will now move on to the general election to be held November 7th. She will go up against Carlos Hutcherson (D), a local attorney.
